DESCRIPTION
The PF-JT3-40 is an industrial power fuse designed to UL 248-14 supplemental standard for circuit protection in power distribution applications. It features a rated current of 40 A with an interrupting rating of 2000 A at 500 VAC, 2000 A at 250 VAC, and 1000 A at 125 VDC, providing robust protection across multiple voltage levels. The fuse has a nominal resistance of 0.0019 O and a nominal I²t value of 2616 A²s (measured at 10x rated current), with clearing time characteristics of 4 hours minimum at 100% current rating and 120 seconds maximum at 200% current rating. It operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and is RoHS compliant and halogen free, with agency recognition E198545. The PF-JT3-40 is ideal for industrial equipment, power supplies, and distribution systems requiring reliable overcurrent protection with fast response times.
