DESCRIPTION
The PQ2614BHA-6R8K is a magnetically shielded power inductor from Bourns' PQ2614BHA series designed for high-performance DC-DC converter and power supply applications. It features a 6.8 µH inductance (±10%) at 100 kHz with a self-resonant frequency of 20 MHz, a typical DC resistance of 1.62 mO (maximum 1.90 mO), and a rated RMS current of 30 A. The inductor exhibits high saturation current characteristics with Isat1 of 34.5 A typical and Isat2 of 36.2 A typical, where inductance drops 20% at Isat1 and 30% at Isat2. The device operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +155°C, includes an extra solder pad for increased mechanical stability, and is AEC-Q200 compliant and RoHS compliant with halogen-free materials. This shielded design is ideal for automotive, industrial power management, and compact PCB layouts where magnetic interference must be minimized.
