DESCRIPTION
PWR163S-25-27R0J is a DPAK-style surface-mount power resistor from the PWR163 Series, designed for high-power applications requiring low inductance and excellent thermal performance. This 25 W resistor features a 27 O resistance value with ±5% tolerance, a thermal resistance of 5.2 °C/W, and maximum inductance of 0.1 µH, making it ideal for high-frequency applications such as amplifiers and wireless base stations. The resistor operates over a temperature range of -55 °C to 155 °C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 PPM/°C, and includes an electrically isolated backplate for enhanced safety and performance. It is RoHS compliant and AEC-Q200 qualified, with excellent pulse characteristics suitable for current limiting and capacitor discharge circuits in power supplies, motor drives, and test and measurement applications.
