DESCRIPTION
PWR247T-100-2R70F is a TO-247 style power resistor manufactured by Bourns using thick film technology on an alumina ceramic substrate. This 100 W power resistor features a resistance value of 2.7 O with ±1% tolerance, low inductance of 0.1 µH maximum, and a thermal resistance of 1.5 °C/W, enabling efficient heat dissipation in demanding applications. The device operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C with a temperature coefficient of ±200 PPM/°C, and supports maximum operating voltage of 500 V. It is designed for current limiting, capacitor discharge, and current measurement circuits in power supplies for telecom and industrial applications, including power supplies, motor drives, and test and measurement equipment. The resistor is RoHS compliant, AEC-Q200 qualified, and compatible with lead-free solder reflow processes.
