DESCRIPTION
PWR263S-20-R500F is a 20 W D²PAK style power resistor manufactured by Bourns using thick film on alumina ceramic technology, with a resistance value of 0.5 O and ±1% tolerance. The device features low inductance (0.1 µH maximum), electrical isolation of the resistor from the backplate, and a thermal resistance of 6.5 °C/W, enabling efficient heat dissipation in demanding applications. It operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +155°C with a maximum operating voltage of 250 V, and is qualified to AEC-Q200 standards with RoHS compliance. This resistor is commonly used in power supplies, motor drives, test and measurement equipment, and rectifier circuits where precise current measurement and reliable performance under high-power conditions are essential.
