DESCRIPTION

The SA2-2400-CLB-STD is a two-electrode high voltage gas discharge tube designed for high isolation applications requiring overvoltage protection. This device features a nominal DC breakdown voltage of 2400 V (typical) with a tolerance of -20% to +20%, and a maximum impulse breakdown of 3800 V at 1 kV/µs ramp rate. The tube exhibits high insulation resistance over a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +100°C, quick response characteristics, and long service life, making it suitable for demanding environments. The SA2-2400-CLB-STD is commonly used in street lighting, medical devices, air conditioning systems, power supplies, projectors, and welders, where reliable surge protection and high voltage isolation are critical requirements. The device is RoHS compliant and carries UL 1449 agency recognition.
