DESCRIPTION

The SMBJ200A is a unidirectional Transient Voltage Suppressor (TVS) diode designed to protect sensitive electronic components from voltage transients. It features a working peak reverse voltage of 200V and a minimum breakdown voltage of 224V. This device can handle a peak pulse power dissipation of 600W and has a maximum clamping voltage of 324V at a peak pulse current of 1.9A. Housed in a surface-mount SMB (DO-214AA) package, it offers a fast response time of less than 1.0 picosecond. This TVS diode is ideal for applications requiring protection against ESD, EFT, and surge events, such as in portable communications, computing, and video equipment.
