DESCRIPTION
SRU1038A-3R5Y is a shielded SMD power inductor from the SRU1038 series designed for input/output filtering in DC/DC converters and power supplies for portable communication equipment, camcorders, and LCD TVs. The inductor features a 3.5 µH inductance at 100 kHz with ±30% tolerance, a maximum RMS current rating of 5.5 A, and a saturation current of 5.5 A typical. It incorporates a ferrite DR and RI core with enameled copper wire and silver/nickel/tin terminals, achieving a self-resonant frequency of 35.0 MHz and a DC resistance of 11.5 mO maximum. The compact unit height of 3.8 mm and RoHS compliance make it suitable for space-constrained, environmentally regulated applications requiring reliable power management.
