DESCRIPTION
SRU8028-4R7Y is a shielded surface-mount power inductor from Bourns' SRU8028 series designed for DC/DC converter input/output filtering and power supply applications. The inductor features an inductance of 4.7 µH at 100 kHz with ±30% tolerance, a DC resistance of 20.0 mO, and a maximum RMS current rating of 3.7 A with a saturation current of 3.2 A typical. It operates with a self-resonant frequency of 50.0 MHz and a quality factor of 15 at the test frequency of 7.96 MHz. The compact unit height of 2.8 mm and overall dimensions of 8.0 × 8.0 mm make it suitable for space-constrained applications in portable communication equipment, camcorders, and LCD TV power supplies. The device is RoHS compliant and available in E6 series inductance values.
