DESCRIPTION
TISP7038L1DR-S is a triple element thyristor overvoltage protector designed for protecting signal, data, and control lines against metallic (transverse mode) and simultaneous longitudinal (common mode) impulses. It features a repetitive peak off-state voltage (VDRM) of ±28 V, breakover voltage (VBO) of ±38 V, and low off-state capacitance of 17 pF typical. The device is rated for international surge wave shapes including 2/10 µs at 200 A, 1.2/50 µs at 100 A, and 10/1000 µs at 30 A, with IEC 61000-4-2 ESD immunity ratings of 6 kV contact and 8 kV air discharge. Common applications include protection for ISDN, T1/E1, Ethernet, RS232, and RS485 interfaces, providing reliable overvoltage protection in an 8-pin small-outline package.
