DESCRIPTION
TISP9110LDMR-S is a programmable overvoltage protection device designed to protect modern dual polarity supply rail ringing SLICs (Subscriber Line Interface Circuits) against overvoltages on telephone lines caused by lightning, AC power contact, and induction. It features a wide -110 V to +110 V programming range with low 5 mA maximum gate triggering current and four separate protection structures (two positive and two negative) for optimum metallic and longitudinal protection. The device is rated for international surge waveforms including 2/10 µs at ±100 A, 10/700 µs at ±45 A, and 10/1000 µs at ±30 A per Telcordia GR-1089-CORE and ITU-T K.20/21/45 standards. Supplied in an 8-SOIC (210 mil) package with embossed tape reel carrier, it is ideal for wireless local loop, access equipment, regenerated POTS, and VoIP applications.
