DESCRIPTION
WS2M1500J is a high-surge wirewound resistor from the Bourns WS Series, designed to withstand surge pulses per IEC 61000-4-5 1.2/50 µs standard with a 2W power rating at 70°C. The resistor features a low thermal resistant ceramic core and E24 resistance values with 5% tolerance, operating reliably across a wide temperature range of -55°C to +200°C with a temperature coefficient of ±200 ppm/°C. Its compact dimensions (11.5 ± 1.0 mm length, 5.0 ± 1.0 mm diameter, 28.0 ± 3.0 mm width, 0.65 ± 0.05 mm thickness) and RoHS-compliant coating material meeting UL 94V-0 requirements make it ideal for smart meters, renewable energy systems, industrial equipment, power supplies, chargers, lighting, and instrumentation applications.
