BM71-187-175-342 is a Brady B-342 PermaSleeve marker, a heat shrinkable tubing product designed for wire identification and insulation purposes. The marker is manufactured from irradiated polyolefin heat shrink tubing with a 3:1 shrink ratio and supports thermal transfer and dot matrix printing technologies. It operates across a wide temperature range from -55°C (-67°F) to +135°C (+275°F), with a minimum recovery temperature of 150°C (302°F) recommended for proper shrinking. The product meets mark permanence requirements of AS-81531 and AS-5942 when printed with Brady Series R6600, R4300, R4502S, R6700 thermal transfer ribbons, R5000 Series dot matrix ribbon, or laser marking methods. Available in multiple sizes and colors (white, yellow, black, red, orange, green, blue, violet, pink, gray, and brown), the B-342 PermaSleeve marker provides excellent environmental, abrasion, and chemical resistance, making it ideal for aerospace, industrial, and telecommunications applications requiring durable wire identification.
