The THT-7-486-3 is a thermal transfer printable label from the B-486 material series, designed for applications requiring nameplate-like quality. Constructed from metallized polyester, it has a matte, light gray finish and a total thickness of 0.0053 inches. This label features a permanent rubber-based adhesive engineered for high adhesion to textured metals, powder-coated surfaces, and low-surface-energy plastics. It is capable of withstanding service temperatures from -40°F to 248°F (-40°C to 120°C) and is resistant to numerous solvents. Common applications include creating durable rating and serial plates that utilize barcodes, alphanumerics, and graphic symbols.
