DESCRIPTION
The DA284-73 is a single-pole heavy-duty toggle switch from Carling Technologies' DK/EK-Series, designed for demanding industrial and general-purpose applications. It features a bat-style toggle actuator with screw terminal connections, rated for 8A at 250V, 16A at 125V, or 1 HP at 125-250V, and incorporates a quick make/quick break contact mechanism ideal for high-voltage DC applications. The switch is constructed with sturdy metal components and exhibits a stiff actuation force to withstand rigorous operating conditions. With a dielectric strength of 1000V (UL/CSA), an electrical life of 25,000 cycles, and a mechanical life of 100,000 cycles, it operates reliably across a temperature range of 0°F to 150°F (-17.8°C to +65.6°C).
