DESCRIPTION
The V8B1S00C-AZB00-000 is a sealed Contura II single-pole snap-in rocker switch designed for marine and harsh-environment applications requiring complete protection against dust and water ingress. The switch features IP66/68 certification, signifying complete protection against dust and prolonged spray and submersion under pressure, and meets UL1500/ISO8846 ignition protection requirements and EC directive 94/25/EC for marine products. It is rated for operating temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and has been validated for vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture, and salt spray resistance per MIL-STD testing standards including dust resistance (MIL-STD 810 Method 510.2 at 300 ft/min for 16 hours), thermal shock (-55°C to +85°C per MIL-STD 202F Method 107F), and moisture resistance (MIL-STD 202F Method 106F).
