DESCRIPTION

VVAAC00-000 is a sealed rocker switch from the V-Series Contura line, engineered for demanding applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing for above-panel components, polycarbonate lens rated at 100°C, and actuators molded from thermoplastic polycarbonate with elastomer overlay or nylon 66 reinforced materials rated to 105°C. It meets stringent military and marine standards including MIL-STD 202F, MIL-STD 510.1, UL 1500, ISO 8846, IEC 60529, and BS 5490, with proven corrosion resistance (MFG Class III per ASTM B-827/B-845) and operational capability from -40°C to +85°C. The switch is widely used in marine, on/off-highway, armored vehicles, and mining machinery applications where sealing protection and reliability are critical.
