DESCRIPTION
VVAKC00-000 is a sealed rocker switch from the V-Series Contura line, engineered for demanding applications requiring robust environmental protection. The switch features IP66/68 sealing for above-panel components, polycarbonate lens rated at 100°C, and actuators molded from thermoplastic polycarbonate with elastomer overlay. It meets stringent military and marine standards including MIL-STD 202F, MIL-STD 510.1, UL 1500, and ISO 8846, with proven corrosion resistance (MFG Class III per ASTM B-827/B-845) and operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. The switch withstands vibration per MIL-STD 202F Method 204D (10G's, 10-500 Hz), shock testing at 30G's, and salt spray exposure for 96 hours. These characteristics make it ideal for marine vessels, armored vehicles, mining machinery, and any on/off-highway application requiring superior sealing and environmental protection.
