DESCRIPTION
The MI20 is a 1-phase current metering transformer designed for use with Carlo Gavazzi control relays to measure AC currents proportionally. It features a measuring range of 2–20 AAC with a maximum continuous current rating of 50 AAC and a maximum overload current of 85 AAC at 30 seconds. The transformer produces an output voltage of 0.4–4 Vp (peak) proportional to the measured current, with an output impedance of less than 200 O and a tolerance of ±5% at rated input current. Operating over a frequency range of 40 Hz to 1 kHz with rated insulation voltage of 1000 VACrms (input-output) and dielectric strength of 6 kVACrms, the MI20 is suitable for industrial monitoring and control applications requiring accurate current measurement and signal conditioning.
