DESCRIPTION
The SMSA2P03 is a cylindrical safety magnetic sensor designed for safety-critical applications up to category 4 in accordance with EN ISO13849-1:2015. It features 2 normally open (NO) outputs, multiple flux coding, and a cable connection (PVC, AWG 26, 2 m length with 4 x 0.15 mm² conductors) for reliable signal transmission. The sensor operates with a switching voltage of 100 VAC maximum and switching current of 0.25 A, delivering up to 5 VA switching power. With an M18x1 cylindrical housing made of plastic, the SMSA2P03 provides an operating distance of 16 ± 5 mm and operates reliably across temperatures from -25°C to +70°C with IP 67 protection. This sensor is ideal for gate control systems, safety interlocks, and industrial automation applications requiring certified safety performance and robust environmental protection.
