DESCRIPTION
CTG035 is a core balance transformer designed to detect the difference in current flow on lines running through its coil, enabling identification of potentially hazardous current leaks on electric loads. The device features a current transformer ratio of 1000/1, operates at frequencies between 50 to 60 Hz, and is rated for a maximum system voltage of 720 VAC with a rated insulation level of 3 kVAC. With a nominal current rating of 80 A, short-term thermal current of 4000 A (50 × In), and overload current capacity of 480 A, the CTG035 provides high sensitivity and wide operational range. The transformer has an internal diameter of 35 mm, dimensions of 64 × 74 × 20 mm, and weighs approximately 80 g, making it suitable for panel mounting with DIN rail adapter compatibility. CTG035 is commonly used in conjunction with Carlo Gavazzi DEA71 and DEB71 earth leakage monitoring relays for protecting electric motors, pumps, and devices installed in metallic structures.
