DESCRIPTION
PA18ALD04TOM6SA is a diffuse-reflective photoelectric sensor designed for general-purpose industrial detection in heavy-duty applications. It features a modulated infrared light source (GaAlAs LED, 880 nm) with a rated operating distance of up to 400 mm and is housed in a heavy-duty M18 cylindrical nickel-plated brass housing with IP67 protection. The sensor operates on 20 to 250 VAC (45 to 65 Hz) with a 500 mA continuous SCR output, 270° single-turn potentiometer adjustment, and high immunity to ambient light (up to 10,000 lux). It provides make or break switching functionality with yellow LED indication and response times of =20 ms (OFF-ON) and =30 ms (ON-OFF). This sensor is ideal for simple detection tasks in manufacturing, packaging, and material handling systems where robust construction and reliable performance are essential.
