DESCRIPTION
The ECOM0010 is a compact integrated module combining a temperature controller, current monitor, and RS485 communication interface in a single unit with a solid state relay for power control. It features thermocouple inputs (types K, J, T, E) with ±0.2% full-scale accuracy and 0.1°C resolution, current measurement range of 2A to 50A at 50/60 Hz, and dual logic outputs (OUT1 at 5Vdc 20mA for SSR control and OUT2 at 24Vdc 50mA for auxiliary functions). The module operates on 24Vdc ±10% supply, provides isolated RS485 MODBUS RTU communication, and includes configurable DIP switches and a teach button for parameter setup. With high isolation ratings (1000VDC between thermocouple and power supply, 2500VDC between RS485 and other circuits), the ECOM0010 is designed for compact cabinet integration and reduces wiring costs. It is commonly used in temperature control applications including plastic injection molding, extrusion, packaging, drying ovens, glass tempering furnaces, semiconductor industry equipment, reflow soldering machines, and professional cooking ovens.
