The 43170 is a sealed foam swab designed for economical, general-purpose cleaning. It features a foam-over-cotton head constructed from reticulated 100 pores per inch medical-grade foam, which is thermally bonded to a 6.0-inch wood handle without adhesives. This fiberless construction provides excellent particle entrapment and high solvent capacity without generating loose particles. The swab is compatible with common solvents like isopropyl alcohol and methanol, making it suitable for a variety of tasks.
