DESCRIPTION
CTAR-1 is a 1 gallon liquid acrylic conformal coating designed to provide insulation against high-voltage arcing and corona shorts on printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies. This coating offers excellent dielectric strength with a dielectric breakdown of 8300 volts/mil and volume resistivity of 1 x 10^14 ohm/cm, while providing a hard, durable protective barrier against humidity, salt, corrosive vapors, and fungus. The coating features a usable temperature range of -75°F to 270°F (-59°C to 132°C), a tack free time of 30 minutes, and contains a UV indicator for quality control inspection. Meeting MIL-I-46058C Type AR specifications and UL Recognized (File E76307), CTAR-1 is ideal for aerospace, automotive, marine, instrumentation, and data communications applications where long-term protection and reliability are essential.
