DESCRIPTION
The 799-2007 is a battery holder for lithium coin cells, specifically designed to accept two lithium coin cells in series (dual cell type). It features fully heat-treated beryllium copper positive contacts and hard brass negative contacts with a 50 µm minimum nickel finish, providing excellent electrical conductivity and non-magnetic properties critical for sensitive chip applications. The housing is constructed from glass-filled polyester with UL 94 V-O flammability rating in black color. Key dimensions include A: 26.67 mm (1.050"), B: 29.46 mm (1.16"), C: 13.34 mm (0.525"), D: 4.32 mm (0.170"), and E: 6.99 mm (0.275"), with mounting holes of 0.040" ± 0.004" diameter. The design incorporates both contacts at defined points to concentrate spring normal force, wide peripheral slots for easier battery removal, and compatibility with standard 0.036" minimum finished diameter plated-through holes.
