DESCRIPTION
The 6282-8SG-3DC is a Mini-Con-X field installable connector designed for cable socket applications with 8 contacts in a compact form factor. This connector features a short twist-lock backshell (Style 3DC) with a 5/8-27 UNEF thread and operates at a rated voltage of 600 V. The connector is rated for a temperature range of -40°C to +115°C and provides watertight sealing with NEMA 6P, 13 and IEC IP67 ratings, making it suitable for harsh environmental conditions. The hex nut is designed to withstand 10-12 inch/lb tightening torque, and the connector demonstrates excellent corrosion resistance with 300 hours of salt spray testing on contacts. This connector is ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable, weathertight connections in demanding environments.
