DESCRIPTION

The 150473J250BB is an axial leaded metallized polyester capacitor designed for general-purpose applications including blocking, bypass, decoupling, smoothing, and timing circuits. This Type 150 series capacitor features a 250 Vdc rated voltage with 0.047 µF capacitance and ±5% tolerance (J designation). The device is constructed with non-inductive winding, flame-retardant outer wrap meeting UL510, and epoxy end fill meeting UL94V-0 standards. Physical dimensions include a maximum body diameter of 0.374 inches (9.5 mm), lead diameter of 0.031 inches (0.8 mm), and maximum length of 1.102 inches (28.0 mm), with tinned copper leads spaced 1.58 inches (40 ±5 mm) apart. The capacitor operates reliably over a temperature range of -55 °C to +125 °C with linear derating to 50% rated voltage at 125 °C, making it suitable for industrial and commercial electronic equipment requiring compact, non-polar capacitive filtering.
