DESCRIPTION
The 380LQ821M400A052 is a Type 380LQ compact, high-capacitance snap-in aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for 85°C operation at 400 Vdc (450 Vdc surge). This capacitor features 820 µF nominal capacitance with a maximum ESR of 0.243 ohms at 120 Hz and 0.122 ohms at 20 kHz, measured at +25°C. The unit is housed in a 35 mm diameter by 50 mm length case and is rated for ripple currents of 3.25 A at 120 Hz and 4.14 A at 20 kHz when operating at +85°C. The Type 380LQ design achieves approximately 27% smaller size and more than 10 mm shorter length compared to the Type 380LX, enabling equipment size reduction while maintaining original performance specifications.
