DESCRIPTION
DME4W1K-F is a Type DME metallized polyester film capacitor with radial leads designed for 400 Vdc DC applications in a miniature dipped package. This capacitor delivers performance comparable to physically larger capacitors while maintaining a compact form factor, with a capacitance of 1.02 µF and ±10% tolerance. It features a maximum operating temperature of 125°C with 50% voltage derating above 85°C, dielectric strength of 150% at 1 minute, and a dissipation factor of 1% maximum at 25°C and 1 kHz. The device incorporates self-healing technology to address shorts caused by overvoltage transients, making it suitable for small-size, cost-effective DC circuit applications including power supplies, filtering, and energy storage in compact electronic equipment.
