DESCRIPTION
MLP113M050EB0A is an ultra-low-profile aluminum electrolytic capacitor designed for high-energy storage and voltage holdup applications in military SEM-E modules, telecom circuit packs, and computer cards. This 11,000 µF, 50 Vdc rated capacitor features a compact 3.0-inch length case (EB) with a maximum height of 0.50 inches, delivering up to 20 joules of energy storage while maintaining a 50-year operational life at +45°C. The capacitor exhibits an ESR of 36 mO at 120 Hz and supports a ripple current of 27 A at 85°C case temperature, with thermal resistance of 1.4°C/W when heatsunk. Its flat top and bottom surfaces enable easy external heatsinking to double ripple current capability, making it ideal for demanding applications requiring reliable filtering and energy storage in constrained spaces.
