DESCRIPTION

E1016-8007 is a yellow crimp non-vulcanized male plug from the Cam-Lok J-Series single pole connectivity line. It is designed for #2-#1 cable sizes and features contacts machined from high conductivity brass for smooth sliding fit and easy locking action. The plug incorporates watertight elastomeric insulators molded from colorfast material for easy phase identification, recessed contacts protected by an insulating jacket extending beyond contact ends for safety, and an integrated strain relief system with a retaining wire to prevent cable jacket pull-away. A high-strength molded-in-place locking ring secures the insulator to the contact, with locked contacts capable of withstanding a pulling force of 1,000 lbs. This connector is ideal for motors, generators, lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power applications requiring reliable single pole connections.
