DESCRIPTION

E1018-1706 is a Cam-Lok single pole male insulated receptacle designed for reliable industrial power connectivity. This blue color-coded receptacle features a double set screw termination and an elastomeric watertight body molded from colorfast TPE material. The double cam principle provides a positive, vibration-proof connection with locked contacts capable of withstanding a pulling force of 1,000 lbs, while 1/3 of a turn assures high pressure contact approaching 600 lbs per sq. in. for minimum resistance. Recessed contacts are protected by an insulating jacket extending beyond contact ends for safety, and the receptacle is safety insulated for direct mounting to steel panels. Common applications include motors, generators, indoor and outdoor lighting distribution panels, and stand-by power systems.
