DESCRIPTION
DAT70575FU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage reed relay from the DA(UL) series designed for high-reliability applications requiring excellent isolation. The relay features 7.5 kV isolation across contacts with rhodium contact material, providing low contact resistance of 50 mO (typical 15 mO) and supporting a maximum switching voltage of 1000 V DC or AC peak with a maximum switching current of 3 A. It operates with a 5 V DC coil, requiring a must-operate voltage of 3.7 V and a must-release voltage of 0.5 V, with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively when a diode is fitted. The relay is PCB-mounted with flying lead HV connection using UL3239 22 AWG cable rated for 20 kV, and operates reliably over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. This relay is ideal for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies where high isolation voltages and low contact resistance are essential.
