DESCRIPTION
DAT71205TU is a UL-approved, normally open high-voltage reed relay designed for high-reliability applications requiring excellent isolation and switching performance. The relay features a 5 kV isolation voltage across contacts with rhodium contact material, delivering low contact resistance of 50 mO (typical 15 mO) and a maximum switching power of 50 W. It operates with a 5V DC coil requiring a must-operate voltage of 3.7 V and a must-release voltage of 0.5 V, with operate and release times of 3.0 ms and 2.0 ms respectively when a diode is fitted. The device is housed in a PCB-mount package with wire wrap turret (solder turret) HV connections and includes 4 pins of 0.635" square spacing, with overall dimensions of 60.0 mm × 18.5 mm × 4.0 mm. This relay is ideal for cardiac defibrillators, test equipment, and high-voltage power supplies where high isolation, low contact resistance, and reliable switching are essential.
