DESCRIPTION

The SAR90503 is a high-voltage reed relay designed for demanding ATE (Automatic Test Equipment) applications where PCB space is limited. It features 5kV isolation across contacts with Rhodium contact material, delivering reliable performance in high-voltage DC and low-frequency switching scenarios. The relay supports a maximum switching power of 10W with a maximum switching voltage of 20V DC/AC peak and a maximum switching current of 0.5A, while maintaining low contact resistance of 80 mOhms maximum (30 mOhms typical). With a coil voltage of 5V, the relay operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C and achieves an operating time of 1.0 ms and release time of 0.5 ms with diode fitted. The compact 30mm package combined with high isolation performance and 106 operations lifetime makes it ideal for precision test equipment, medical instrumentation, and high-voltage switching applications where reliability and space efficiency are paramount.
