DESCRIPTION

The AFB0712SHX02 is a DC brushless axial flow fan designed for thermal management applications requiring reliable cooling performance. It operates at a rated voltage of 12 VDC with an operating range of 5.0 to 13.8 VDC, delivering a maximum airflow of 1.729 m³/min (61.05 CFM) at zero static pressure and a maximum air pressure of 15.90 mmH2O at zero airflow. The fan features PWM speed control capability with a frequency range of 20–30 kHz (preferred 25 kHz), allowing dynamic speed adjustment from 1000 RPM (0% duty cycle) to 6300 RPM (100% duty cycle), and includes a frequency generator (FG) signal output for speed monitoring. Built with a plastic frame and impeller (UL 94V-0), two ball bearings, and comprehensive protection features including locked rotor protection and polarity protection, the fan is rated for 70,000 hours continuous operation at 40°C with 15–65% RH. This fan is ideal for computer systems, industrial equipment, and applications requiring efficient thermal management with variable speed control.
