DESCRIPTION

The 1.5KE39CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for overvoltage protection and ESD suppression in electronic circuits. It features a breakdown voltage of 39 V (±5% tolerance) with a stand-off voltage range of 37.1 to 41.0 V, and a maximum clamping voltage of 53.9 V. The device is rated for peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 W (10/1000 µs waveform) and steady-state power dissipation of 6.5 W at 75°C ambient temperature. With a peak forward surge current rating of 200 A and operating junction temperature range of -50°C to +175°C, this diode provides robust protection against transient overvoltage events. The bidirectional design (CA suffix) ensures electrical characteristics apply in both directions, making it ideal for protecting sensitive components in industrial and commercial applications.
