DESCRIPTION

GBU8M-T is a single-phase diode bridge rectifier designed for 50/60 Hz mains rectification and power supply applications. It features four diodes in bridge configuration with a maximum alternating input voltage of 700 V RMS and a repetitive peak reverse voltage (VRRM) of 1000 V. The device delivers 8 A average forward current with a forward voltage drop below 1.0 V at 8 A, and supports peak forward surge currents of 180 A (50 Hz) or 200 A (60 Hz). With a junction temperature range of -50°C to +150°C, reverse recovery time of approximately 1500 ns, and thermal resistance of 3.0 K/W (junction to case), the GBU8M-T is well-suited for commercial-grade power conversion applications. The tube-packed variant (-T suffix) is ideal for automated assembly in industrial power supplies and rectification circuits requiring high voltage and current handling capability.
