DESCRIPTION
The 1620-3-10A is a single pole thermal miniaturized circuit breaker designed for automotive applications, featuring a reset button (SAE type 3) and compatibility with ISO 8820-3 Type F fuse blocks. It provides a 10 A current rating with a voltage rating of DC 12 V and DC 24 V, with maximum voltage ratings of DC 14.5 V and DC 29.0 V respectively. The device exhibits a voltage drop of less than 150 mV at rated current and is housed in a red color-coded cap for easy identification. Operating across an ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, the circuit breaker meets SAE J553 requirements and offers a service short-circuit breaking capacity of 300 operations at 2 × IN, with an ultimate short-circuit breaking capacity of =3 break operations at 150 A or =1 break operation at 2,000 A. This thermal protection device is particularly suitable for installation in inaccessible locations and is commonly used for protecting electrical systems in passenger cars, trucks, buses, and watercraft.
