DESCRIPTION

BK1/S506-15-R is a time-delay, low breaking capacity fuse in a 5 x 20mm glass tube format with nickel-plated brass endcaps, rated for 15A at 250V AC. The fuse is designed to IEC 60127-2/3 standards and extensions covering 12.5A to 15A ratings, providing reliable overcurrent protection with intentional time-delay characteristics. It features a rated cold resistance of 0.004 O, typical DC melting current of 1091.7A, and a typical melting point voltage of 65.5 mV. The fuse meets multiple international agency certifications including SEMKO, cURus, and JET approvals, with an interrupting rating of 125A at rated voltage. This product is commonly used in industrial and commercial electrical systems where time-delay protection is required to prevent nuisance trips from transient overcurrents while still protecting against sustained faults.
