DESCRIPTION
The BK/GDC-5A is a 5 mm × 20 mm time-delay glass tube fuse designed to IEC 60127-2 standards, rated for 5A at 250V with an interrupting rating of 50 amps. It features a nickel-plated brass endcap construction and low breaking capacity, providing reliable overcurrent protection with intentional time-delay characteristics. The fuse exhibits a typical DC cold resistance of 0.00985 O and a typical melting I²t of 142.5 amps², with a voltage drop of 60.5 mV at rated current. Optional axial leads with copper tinned wire are available, and the fuse is available in multiple packaging options including carton (BK), poly bag (BK1), and tape-on-reel (TR2) formats.
