DESCRIPTION

BK/GLD-1-1/2 is a fast-acting indicating fuse designed for power electronic circuits where visual confirmation of fuse opening is required. This fuse features a 1.5 ampere rating at 125 Vac with a 10 kA AIC (Ampere Interrupting Capacity) and employs an albaloy-plated indicating pin that ejects upon fuse opening to provide immediate electrical signal activation. The fuse has a physical size of 1/4" × 1 1/4" (6.3 mm × 32 mm) with a length of 1.27" (32.2 mm) when not blown and 1.44" (36.5 mm) when blown, allowing for easy visual inspection. It is UL Listed to Standard 248-14 and CSA Certified, making it suitable for industrial and commercial applications requiring reliable overcurrent protection with positive indication. The Cooper Bussmann Series 8000 fuse blocks are recommended for optimal visual indication and circuit integration.
