DESCRIPTION

The BK/MDA-5-R is a 5A time-delay ceramic tube fuse from the MDA series, engineered for overcurrent protection in electronic circuits. It has a voltage rating of 250V AC and features an AC interrupting rating of 200A. Key specifications include a DC interrupting rating of 10,000A, a typical DC cold resistance of 0.02610 Ω, and a typical melting I²t of 380.49 A²s. Housed in a 1/4" x 1-1/4" (6.35 x 31.75mm) ceramic tube with nickel-plated brass endcaps, this fuse is UL Listed. The time-delay characteristic makes it ideal for circuits with temporary inrush currents, preventing nuisance openings while reliably protecting against sustained overloads.
