DESCRIPTION
BK/MDL-8-R is an 8-ampere time-delay glass tube fuse designed for circuit protection in electrical systems rated at 250V AC. The fuse features a 1/4" × 1 1/4" (6.4 × 31.7 mm) physical size with nickel-plated brass endcaps and a glass tube construction, meeting UL standard 248-14. It has an AC interrupting rating of 200 amps at 10,000V, a typical DC cold resistance of 42.7 O, and a typical melting I²t of 0.018 A²sec with a voltage drop of 0.140V at rated current. The fuse is RoHS compliant and available with optional axial leads or sealed construction for board washable applications. This time-delay fuse is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic equipment and industrial circuits where controlled response to overcurrent conditions is required.
