DESCRIPTION
CTX20-4P-R is a surface-mount power inductor and transformer from the OCTA-PAC PLUS series, designed for high-frequency applications requiring low-loss performance. The device features a 4-terminal secure mounting configuration that enables versatile inductance combinations through series or parallel connections, with an open-circuit inductance of 19.60 µH (±20%) in parallel mode and 78.40 µH in series mode. It delivers a full-load current rating of 2.10 A in parallel configuration and 1.05 A in series configuration, with a maximum DC resistance of 0.055 O in parallel and 0.220 O in series at 20°C. The OCTA-PAC PLUS construction utilizes amorphous metal core material, providing higher saturation flux density and current ratings compared to standard OCTA-PAC and ECONO-PAC variants. This component is well-suited for DC-DC converters, buck/boost/forward/resonant converter topologies, noise filtering, and 1:1 300Vdc isolation transformer applications in computer power supplies, portable devices, and LCD panel systems.
