DESCRIPTION

The KR-5R5C104-R is a cylindrical coin cell supercapacitor from Eaton's PowerStor series, featuring 0.1 F capacitance with a 5.5 V working voltage and 6.3 V surge voltage rating. This electrochemical double layer capacitor (EDLC) device is designed with high specific capacitance and low leakage current, operating reliably across a temperature range of -25°C to 70°C (extended to 85°C with voltage derating to 3.6 V). The cylindrical configuration has a maximum diameter of 13.5 mm, height of 6.4 mm, and typical mass of 3.3 grams, with a maximum initial DC ESR of 3.3 O measured at 1 kHz. This supercapacitor is ideal for applications requiring long cycle life and eco-friendly operation, such as real-time clock backup in computers and peripherals, network equipment, utility meters, and HVAC controls.
