DESCRIPTION

MCR-1/2 is a 0.5-ampere fast-acting subminiature electronic fuse designed for circuit protection in compact applications. It features a high-temperature thermoplastic body (UL 94 VO), tin-lead plated copper lead wires with 0.025" diameter, and solid matrix construction for reliable fast-acting performance. The fuse is rated at 125V AC/DC with a 50A AC interrupting rating and 300A DC interrupting rating, delivering a typical voltage drop of 0.65 volts at 100% rated current. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C and meets rigorous environmental standards including MIL-STD testing for moisture resistance, thermal shock, and vibration. This fuse is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and telecommunications equipment where space constraints and fast protection response are critical requirements.
