DESCRIPTION
The 177605M is a 2 Pole Repeating thumbwheel switch marked 0-5 with 10 switching positions, part of EECO's 1776 Series standard .500" wide industrial-grade switch family. This switch provides reliable binary or decimal output codes suitable for a wide range of applications requiring position selection and encoding. The switch features a minimum mechanical life of 1,000,000 detents at 10 mA and 5 VDC, with a tangential operating force of 6-18 Oz. for the 1776 Series. Electrical specifications include a maximum switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC or 115 VAC, contact resistance of 100 mO initially and 200 mO after life testing, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 1000 VAC (RMS) for single pole models. The switch operates reliably across a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C and features gold over nickel plating on contacts with polycarbonate construction per Federal Spec LP-393A. This thumbwheel switch is ideal for front panel control applications, instrumentation, and equipment requiring manual position selection with encoded output.
