DESCRIPTION
The 177616G is a 1776 Series thumbwheel switch configured with Wolf-Pogendorf voltage divider output code (S08) and 10 switching positions. This switch features a standard 0.500" width and provides reliable analog signal selection capabilities through its voltage divider configuration. The switch delivers a minimum life of 1,000,000 detents at 10 mA and 5 VDC, with tangential operating force of 6-18 Oz. for the 1776 Series. It supports a maximum switching load of 125 mA at 28 VDC or 115 VAC, with initial contact resistance of 100 mO maximum and insulation resistance of 1,000 MO minimum at 100 VDC. The 177616G operates across a temperature range of -20°C to +75°C and is constructed with polycarbonate housing, glass epoxy circuit disc, and gold over nickel plated contacts. This switch is ideal for precision analog control systems, test equipment, and instrumentation applications requiring stable voltage divider functionality.
